Your choice is recorded in a first-party cookie named mp_consent, set by our own site (not by Mixpanel), which stores only the word "granted" or "declined" and expires after one year. If you accept, Mixpanel also stores a randomly generated device identifier and a short queue of pending events in your browser's local storage, under a key beginning with mp_; this is local storage rather than a cookie, contains no readable personal information, and is only written once you have opted in.
